Logged110 minutes in the Tigers' 1-1 tie against No. 16 California.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2009(Sophomore):</strong><br> In 2009, Laura finished fifth on the team with two goals scoredand two assists for a total of six points during her sophomorecampaign. Both of Hogan's goals on the year came in conferenceplay, tallying the first of the season against Cal State Northridgein Pacific's 1-0 shutout on Oct. 9. Laura's second goal of the yearhelped the Tigers claim another victory, this one a 2-1 decisionover UC Riverside on Oct. 30. Her two assists came in the earlypart of the season in the victories over Portland State and FresnoState in non-conference action. In her 19 starts this season, Hogantallied 34 shots with 15 on goal for a .441 percentage on theyear.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2008(Freshman):</strong><br> Hogan made her own case for freshman of the year in the conferenceas the Tigers' most versatile player in her first season of action.Playing as both a defender and as an attacker throughout the year,Hogan garnered postseason recognition when she was named SecondTeam All-Big West as a defender for the Tigers after routinelypulling the assignment of marking the opposition's top-scoringthreat. In addition to her work on the defensive end, Hogan was adangerous scorer on the offensive side of the ball, tallying fivegoals throughout the year. Of her five goals, three provided theTigers with a victory as she posted the game-winning strike againstSan Francisco, Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Bakersfield. Twicethroughout the season, Hogan scored a pair of goals in a contest asshe posted two goals and an assist against Cal State Fullerton onOct. 10 in the Tigers' 3-2 victory and then again against Cal StateBakersfield on Oct. 26 in Pacific's 2-1 overtime win. Hogan's playagainst Cal State Fullerton earned her Big West Player of the Weekhonors, the only weekly award for the Tigers in 2008.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>High School:</strong><br> A three-year letterwinner in soccer at Poway High School in Poway,Calif., Hogan was a two-time All-Palomar League selection for theTitans on the field during her career. A two-time second teammember, Laura finished her career at Poway by leading the Titans tothe CIF championship game after posting a 20-6-3 overall recordwhile finishing second in league play. For the season, Hoganproduced six goals and five assists, despite spending most of hertime in the defensive backfield. As a junior, Laura also scored sixgoals and assisted on five others, leading her team to a 14-5-2overall record, again, finishing in second place in league playduring the regular season.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Club:</strong><br> Alongside fellow Tiger Kristina Wavomba, Hogan was a member of theSan Diego Surf Soccer Club. Throughout her time with her club Hoganhelped lead her team to club championships at the Presidio and theSurf Cup tournament in 2007 as well serving as the US champion atthe Copa Coca-Cola tournament.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Personal:</strong><br> Born in San Diego, Calif., she is the daughter of Jody and BrianHogan. Laura has one older brother, Jon. She has yet to decide on amajor plan of study.</p>
